Requirements:
- Matric Certificate
- Valid Driver's License
- Must have experience in a similar role
- Have a strong understanding of ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and IT hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of database management and network infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills for effective user support and training.
- Relevant qualifications in IT, Business Systems, or a related field.
Job Description:
- Assist with maintaining and improving existing software and developing new ERP system solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance support tools, improve troubleshooting, and expand product knowledge.
- Deliver effective application support using strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Responsible for supporting systems such as SAP, Evolve, and Xperteck.
- Provide user support by identifying issues, offering solutions, and implementing long-term fixes.
- Offer proactive support to internal staff and external customers by analyzing recurring incidents and liaising with stakeholders.
- Investigate and resolve system issues, implementing appropriate corrective actions.
- Provide expertise and consultancy on business processes for divisional and cross-divisional projects.
- Support pre- and post-implementation phases of information systems with process owners.
- Contribute to the Help Desk knowledge base with quality articles on problem resolution.
- Recommend and implement system and process improvements.
- Document technical processes and functionality for current and new systems to ensure accurate support.
- Ensure data quality and system integrity are maintained.
- Monitor critical services and systems.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
- Perform scheduled system maintenance tasks.
- Manage relationships with approved suppliers and provide 1st/2nd level support.
- Log and prioritize support calls (low to critical).
- Update systems in real time and analyze recurring problems for weekly reporting.
- Maintain and update the system's knowledge base.
