Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Ensure full compliance with accounting standards and relevant financial regulations
Conduct variance analysis and provide performance insights
Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements
Budgeting & Forecasting
Lead annual budgeting processes and scenario modelling
Deliver accurate monthly forecasting
Support strategic decisions through financial insights and cost optimisation
Internal Controls & Compliance
Maintain and improve internal control frameworks
Ensure compliance with statutory obligations including VAT and income tax
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
Monitor and manage cash flow and working capital
Oversee banking relationships and funding strategies
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and up-skill the finance team
Foster a high-performance culture aligned with organisational goals
Process Improvement & Automation
Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes
Implement and optimise ERP and automation tools
Strategic Business Partnering
Work closely with senior leaders to inform strategic decision-making
Contribute to long-term financial planning initiatives
Sales Enablement Oversight
Oversee asset allocation and logistics for field sales support
Manage stock, vehicle, and fuel card processes
Monitor accommodation procurement and budget alignment
Lead team performance and development within the sales enablement function
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)
Professional designation: CA(SA), CFA or equivalent
Minimum 3 years in a senior financial management role
Strong command of IFRS, statutory compliance, and financial systems (preferably Sage)
Proven leadership and team development skills
High-level analytical and decision-making capabilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
