Job Summary
Our well-established client is currently seeking a Policy Administrator to join their team in a 3-month temp role, with the possibility of a permanent role thereafter.
Overview
Provide professional policy administration service to policyholders and business partners by taking personal accountability and ownership for the quality and completeness of system data.
- Productivity
Professional telephone etiquette in line with requirements (handling time, talk time, lost calls, etc.).
- Customer Service
Provide policyholders with exceptional customer service/experience whilst resolving all queries relating to policies, confirming cover type and policy benefits, etc. Update policy information on the system when required.
- Retention Strategy
Identify problems/issues that could result in a policy cancellation and propose a workable solution to the policyholder; use all client interactions as an opportunity to retain the policy.
Requirements
- Matric
- FAIS accreditation advantageous
- Minimum 2-3 years’ previous related working experience in a corporate entity
- Minimum 2-3 years’ inbound call centre experience
- General administrative experience
- Customer service experience
- Speaks Sotho, Tswana or Pedi
- Good understanding of Cardinal, Sofari and CADI and their tools/applications
- Ability to capture data quickly and accurately
- MS Office including advanced Excel
- Numeracy skills for checking premiums and calculating formulas
- Ability to understand policy wording
- Product knowledge of the relevant policies
- Ability to apply judgement and discernment in providing explanations, agreeing on delivery times with policyholders and managing expectations
