Job Summary
Branch Manager required for a security company based in Mthatha
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including security personnel deployment, client relations, and administrative functions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements, maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve branch goals and objectives, including revenue targets, client retention, and market expansion.
- Lead and motivate a team of security professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for upselling additional services to meet their evolving security needs.
- Collaborate with corporate management and other branch managers to share best practices, streamline processes, and promote a unified approach to service delivery.
- Monitor financial performance, budgetary compliance, and key performance indicators, taking proactive measures to address variances and optimize profitability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, security management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in security management or a similar leadership role, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sound understanding of security industry practices, technology, and trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and security management software.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
