Job Summary
Our client, based in Paarl, is currently seeking to recruit an experienced digital finishing operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate must have 2 years’ related experience.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Sets-up job in accordance with job ticket and product finishing specification documents.
- Responsible for the efficient output to enable the meeting of deadlines and set targets on machines.
- Compliance with quality assurance specifications of the customers and Paarl Labels
- General maintenance of the machine equipment
- Maintain general health and safety standards in the production environment.
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- The ability to do physical tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Must have good eyesight and colour perception.
- Experience with Hot foiling, Silk-screening, Embossing/Debossing and Die-Cutting.
- Honest and reliable
- Able to communicate in English and Afrikaans
- Ability to work independently.
- Willing to work shifts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12
- Relevant working experience in the printing environment is preferable.
- Digital finishing experience is highly advantageous.
Flexo Graphic experience is highly advantageous
