Job Summary
Our client has an opportunity available for a Senior Manager in Procurement based in Constantia Kloof.
Requirements:
- Willing to work overtime when required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willing to travel nationally and internationally and stay overnight.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in Procurement of which 3+ years should be at Management or Senior Management level.
- Prior experience using SAP as an ERP system.
- 3 to 5+ years Strategic Sourcing, Contract and Tender Management and Supplier relations experience.
KPAs:
- Communicate Procurement strategies to stakeholders and formulate plans to facilitate the implementation of the strategy.
- Review and develop high-level procurement strategies.
- Review and implement high-level procurement related policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all governance structures are operational.
- Review and implement documentation management and control processes for Purchasing documents.
- Ensure that procurement activities adhere to quality, safety and compliance standards.
- Conduct ongoing performance management on all direct reports.
