Job Summary
Main Duties/Key Results Areas:
- Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers while based in the office (customer base mainly exist of large supermarkets, cash & carries and wholesale outlets).
- Perform needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Communicating with customers via telephone.
- Customer satisfaction.
- Supply reports on customer needs, problems and services.
- Manage chain stores.
- Managing of requests and queries.
- Manage diary and schedules.
- Confirming that processing on each account is complete before period closure.
- Filing
- All and any other related duties as expected from the employer from time to time.
Required skills:
Prospective applicants must comply with the following requirements:
- Proven work experience with marketing in the FCMG sector (min 3 years' experience)
- Diploma/Degree in marketing.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Outlook programs.
- Highly motivated and target driven with proven track record of sales.
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
- Detailed oriented & meticulous attention to detail.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Being up to date on the latest office gadgets and ‘tech savvy’ will be an advantage
