Job Summary
We are seeking a suitably qualified Human Resource Officer to support HR Metrics and Organizational Development initiatives. This role will be based at our Head office in Woodstock. This role will specifically focus on HR Data Metrics and Organizational Development initiatives. It will support the collection, analyzing and interpretation of HR data to improve HR processes and support HR strategic decision-making pertaining to employee satisfaction surveys, staff retention, and general scorecard reporting. As result it will be directly involved in organizational effectiveness initiatives stemming from data feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Support in gathering and compiling HR data from various sources, including HRIS, payroll outputs, and employee surveys.
- Maintaining and updating HR databases and records.
- Ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Analyzing HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Generating reports and dashboards to present findings to HR teams and leadership.
- Monitoring key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and absenteeism.
- Assisting with HR-related research and projects.
- Evaluating HR tools and systems.
- Ensures robust testing, user adoption, and training for any system enhancements or new implementations on HR Related systems.]
- Support in recruitment and selection related projects in support of Divisional Operations projects.
- Support and facilitation of the performance management process within the unit, inclusive of probation, performance appraisals and poor work performance counselling.
- Work closely with department managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity as well as staff retention.
- Support in Talent Management initiatives in terms of succession, talent review meetings and Development Planning.
- Generate all required HR administration within deadlines.
Key Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Senior Certificate).
- Human Resources Degree/ Diploma
- Valid Driver’s License
- A minimum of 3-5 years in a Human Resource generalist role
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel Advanced) this is essential.
- High attention to detail
- Able to manage a diverse HR agenda with a proven ability to priorities and manage time
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
