Job Summary
Our client, a dynamic and innovative production company are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team.
Overview:
Will be responsible for managing and analysing financial data. Work closing with production and corporate teams to provide accurate financial insights, ensure compliance and support strategic decision making.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyse and present financial statements and reports
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies
- Conduct cost analysis for production and operational efficiency
- Manage budgets, forecasts and cashflow planning
- Assist in external audits and liaise with auditors as required
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business strategies
Requirements:
- A recognized accounting qualification
Proven experience in the corporate sector, preferably within the FMCG or production industry - Knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws and financial regulations
- Proficient in financial management software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Note: position is based in UNDERBERG - must be prepared to relocate.
