As the Financial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing operations, financial analysis, and business process optimisation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing teams, implementing business processes, and ensuring compliance with financial and SHEQ standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coach subordinates to ensure efficient and effective performance.
- Set clear objectives, provide counseling, and manage performance for optimal team contributions.
- Manage the national Rentals ERP systems and ensure ISO compliance.
- Oversee national financial analysis, invoicing, and credit note processes.
- Ensure accurate billing aligned with lease agreements.
- Manage transport administration, fleet, assets, stock integrity, and reconciliations.
- Take ownership of debtor management, risk management, and legal matters.
- Facilitate internal audits, branch visits, and training for continuous improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Manage capex, price lists, escalation functions, and audit processes (financial/SHEQ).
- Develop and train team members on ISO-aligned business processes.
- Conduct compliance audits and improve national business processes.
Requirements
- Matric and a relevant BCom Degree or equivalent.
- Technical expertise in business process development, revenue and credit note processes, and general ledger management.
- Proven knowledge of financial analysis and reporting, fleet, and asset control.
- Strong management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systemsa and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and critical evaluation skills.
