Job Summary
Job Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our finance team. You will be responsible for managing daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial software, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations for cost management.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Assist in preparation and finalisation of annual financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external
stakeholders.
- Coordinate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary
documentation.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage working capital.
- Oversee banking relationships and transactions.
Tax and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- Prepare and file tax returns and other statutory reports.
- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
Support and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support
decision-making.
- Assist in financial training and development for non-financial staff.
- Conduct periodic internal reviews and internal audits of financial processes.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and
financial reporting.
