Hire Resolve's client, a leading South African pharmaceutical company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager. - Prepare and oversee financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Ensure compliance with SARS regulations, including VAT and corporate tax.
- Oversee audits and adherence to pharmaceutical financial regulations.
- Develop financial strategies aligned with long-term corporate objectives.
- Lead resource allocation and cost optimization efforts.
- Analyze production and distribution costs for efficiency improvements.
- Mentor and manage the finance team to drive performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and suppliers.
- Support financial decision-making for new products or acquisitions.
- Leverage financial software to enhance reporting and analysis.
- Promote innovation in financial processes and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification advantageous.
- 5–7 years’ experience in senior financial roles, ideally in pharmaceuticals.
- Expertise in cost accounting and financial planning.
- Strong knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
- High ethical standards and attention to detail.
