• Develop, analyze, and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential investments.

• Perform sensitivity analyses and scenario testing for investment decision-making.
• Assist in structuring mezzanine financing deals, including drafting term sheets and reviewing financial agreements.
• Liaise with legal teams and other stakeholders to ensure successful deal closures.
• Conduct in-depth financial and operational due diligence on prospective investments.
• Analyze financial statements, management accounts, and key business drivers.
• Monitor the performance of portfolio companies through financial reporting and analysis.
• Support portfolio companies with strategic initiatives, financial restructuring, and performance improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory developments, and economic factors affecting private equity and mezzanine markets.
• Prepare market and investment reports to support strategic decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, portfolio companies, and industry partners.

• Support fundraising and investor relations activities.

• Recently qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with exceptional academic performance (top 10%).
• Articles completed at a reputable auditing or accounting firm, with exposure to private equity, financial modeling, or transaction services being a distinct advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Knowledge of mezzanine financing, private equity, or corporate finance is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in financial analysis software and MS Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to professional excellence.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think creatively and solve problems.
