Job Summary
Create and manage detailed financial models to assess the feasibility, profitability, and risk of renewable energy projects
Structure innovative financing solutions, including debt and equity options, that align with each project’s objectives and ensure optimal capital allocation
Lead comprehensive due diligence processes to evaluate the viability of potential projects, identifying key risks and opportunities
Oversee the preparation and review of all transaction-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Work closely with internal teams and external partners to secure necessary approvals and financing, ensuring smooth project execution
Lead negotiations with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders to secure favorable financing terms and close deals
Track and report on the financial performance of projects post-financing, ensuring alignment with targets and addressing any emerging issues
Continuously monitor industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge
Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, from financial closure to delivery
Keep senior management and key stakeholders informed on project progress, financial performance, potential risks, and key developments
Skills & Experience:
Expertise in financial structuring
Strong analytical skills
Transaction execution
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in project finance, preferable within Inpendent Power Producers
Qualification:
Qualified CA(SA) or completed CFA
Relevant finance or accounting degree
