- Post graduate studies and affiliations with CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA being advantageous.
- At least 5-7 years’ related experience to the full financial function in a similar role incl. at least 3 years' managerial experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the finance team and their respective daily functions
- Oversee the preparations of financial reports / management accounts. On a monthly basis, complete management accounts, prepares balance sheets, profit and loss accounts and cash flow forecasts;
- Provide the CEO with sound financial advice that contributes significantly to the overall profitability of the Company’s operations;
- Monitor and control the flow of cash receipts and disbursements to meet the business and investment needs of the firm;
- Implement and maintain cash management strategies;
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports that summarize and forecast the organization's financial position, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analysis of future earnings or expenses and cash requirements;
- Asset management;
- Give input for provision of information on budgeting process – in order to consolidate, evaluate and present final budget for approval;
- Ensure that the tax and regulatory requirements are attended to and complied with;
- Ensure the integrity and soundness of the accounting information;
- Oversee and control debtors and creditor functions;
- Review cost centers for reasonableness in order to set standards and understand trends;
- Responsible for the month-end closure, control of bank account, cash management account and petty cash/e-wallet;
- Develop financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk;
- Liaising with auditors to ensure annual audit processes are carried out;
- Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;
- Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation;
- Oversee all systems and procedures in line with group requirements i.e. production reports and controls; 19.
- Responsible for insurance portfolios;
- Responsible for statutory submission requirements;
- Ensure the Accounting systems and controls are implemented and maintained to provide adequate information on Company performance for purposes of control and evaluation;
- Ensure the adequate internal financial control procedures are maintained throughout the Company;
- Participate in the formulation of departmental budgets and forecasts of cash requirements;
- Liaise with Provide assistance to Departmental Heads in the preparation of operating budgets;
- Supervise offices services, including reception, filing and purchases of stationary and consumables;
- In line with generally accepted accounting practices are applied to, maintain and reconcile general ledger;
- Ensure monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts are done according to standard;
- Compile Annual Financial Statements in according with IFRS, GAAP, etc.;
- Review and manage all contractual requirements with clients – e.g. Month-end reconciliations, etc.; and regular communication, regular reporting to the Group finance team.
