Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing a team of developers, including performance reviews and career development
- Overseeing resource allocation, workload balancing, and onboarding/offboarding
- Managing developer recruitment in collaboration with Senior Developers and HR
- Ensuring effective communication with project managers and stakeholders
- Providing technical expertise to support and uphold work estimation and delivery commitments
- Supervising code reviews, testing, and Agile processes
- Serving as an escalation point for team challenges
- Driving continuous improvement and Agile best practices
- All other tasks related to the position
Minimum requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in software development, computer science, or engineering
- Proven experience managing technical teams in software development
- Strong technical background to support estimation, decisions, and recruitment
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills
- Experience in performance management or recruitment is an advantage
