Job Summary
Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg Metro, Sandton
Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Job Duties:
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate project team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks
- Manage project resources effectively to achieve project goals within scope and budget
- Lead project meetings and communicate project updates to all stakeholders
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements
- Implement project management best practises and methodologies
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Financial industry
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practises
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., APM/PMP/Prince2) is desirable
Education:
- Relevant Degree
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the Financial Services/Insurance Industry
Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of project management tools and software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Financial acumen and budget management skills
