QUALIFICATIONS & MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- · Post-graduate degree / MBA

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management and Business Planning
- Strategically link activities to business objectives, prioritizing product functions.
- Ensure effective implementation of strategies in responsible areas.
- Align functional strategies with overall business strategy.
- Develop and implement functional business plans.
- Identify and address key social, political, and societal issues.
- Participate in Exco, Exco Committees, and Exco decision-making for effective Group planning.
Lead the Financial Service business unit
- Oversee managers and specialists to ensure product performance and market acceptance
- Build and maintain Lending and Investment structure to meet Group objectives
- Provide input to Business Director for executive approvals on strategy and resources
- Implement approved innovation projects to increase revenue streams
- Develop business cases and recommendations for Exco, including partnerships
- Manage new business initiatives for Lending and Investment
- Maximize revenue growth by implementing strategic objectives
- Drive market share gain or customer acquisition through teams
- Monitor product satisfaction and retention rates against objectives
- Lead development of commercially sound business strategies
- Ensure initiative performance metrics meet ROI targets
- Manage stakeholder expectations to identify and implement growth opportunities
- Engage with stakeholders to enhance innovative thinking
- Develop and implement effective communication plans for the department
- Collaborate with finance to ensure adherence to good financial practices
- Oversee effective rollout by product and sales teams and develop go-to-market plans
- Present and manage departmental capital and operational budgets
- Ensure effective communication between all supporting business units through regular engagements
- Develop and recommend product vision and roadmap aligned with Group goals and market trends
- Formulate short to long-term product strategy for Business Development Director's approval
- Define product success metrics and track progress
Micro-lending and Savings and Investment Products
- Forecast sales targets by analyzing market size and opportunities
- Manage key business metrics (profitability, market development, retention, customer service) to deliver business opportunities with Business Development Director's support
Credit and Operations Management
- Lead Credit and Operations team to optimize lending business
- Develop and implement credit risk mechanisms to manage bad debt
- Implement sound operational processes and business practices
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
Manage key stakeholder and third-party relations
- Collaborate with strategic partners to deliver Group value proposition
- Promote strong brand awareness with external stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry trends and recommend innovative solutions
- Establish strategic alliances for business opportunities
Manage business risks
- Identify and manage the business risks and ensure compliance to regulation requirements.
- Manage the application of credit risk models and metrics to manage the credit risks.
- Manage the credit limits and ensure that they are aligned to the approved credit policy.
People management
- Develop a fit-for-purpose structure and resource allocation for business objectives and growth
- Build and lead an effective, collaborative team
- Define roles, responsibilities, manpower modeling, and measurable objectives
- Develop and manage KPAs and KPIs for direct reports
- Ensure adherence to people management and performance processes
- Coach and mentor managers and department structures
