Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct credit assessments, including financial analysis, trend evaluation, and risk mitigation.
- Present bankable solutions to support sustainable business growth.
- Perform collateral analysis, loan structuring, and credit risk management.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies, NCA, CPA, FICA, and risk regulations.
- Engage with stakeholders, operations teams, and credit committees to streamline the credit process.
- Manage a portfolio of clients, performing annual credit reviews and loan restructuring.
- Provide expert guidance on deal structuring and financing solutions for commercial clients.
What You Need to Succeed:
Qualification: A 3-year tertiary qualification in Commerce (Accounting, Agri-Economics, or Credit Management preferred).
Experience: 3+ years in credit risk assessment, deal structuring, and financial analysis.
Skills & Expertise:
- Strong credit assessment and financial modelling skills.
- In-depth understanding of risk management principles and credit compliance.
- Experience in commercial lending, agricultural finance, or business banking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management tools.
- Knowledge of primary and secondary agricultural sector finance.
Travel: Regular travel may be required as part of the role.
