Hire Resolve's client, a leader in the rental and event solutions sector, is currently seeking two skilled and motivated Accountants to join their dynamic team in Paarl, Western Cape. Responsibilities

• Provide strong accounting support to the department.
• Assist with second-in-command (2IC) responsibilities, gaining insight into overall business operations.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Oversee and maintain accurate financial records.
• Offer guidance to the Finance Clerk, ensuring all financial processes are efficient.
• Monitor event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Analyse event-related costs and provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for management review.

Requirements

• Age: 30 to 45 years old.
• Language: Proficiency in Afrikaans and English.
• Industry Experience: Preferably from construction, warehouse, or technical environments.
• Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Paarl.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, demonstrating comfort with financial systems and processes.
• Technical Requirements:
  • Preferably completed SAICA articles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel (assessment required).
  • Strong financial acumen, to be evaluated during the interview process.
• Educational Requirements: Matric and a Degree/Diploma in Financial Management.
• Driver’s License: Valid and applicable for the role.
