Financial Controller Epping Cape Town
Our client a large manufacturer / engineering company in Midrand Johannesburg is looking for an experienced Financial Controller with 5 years experience with completed SAICA articles or SAIPA. You will be overseeing the financial cost controlling function. The candidate must have experience in leading a finance team with working knowledge from a Manufacturing, imports and distribution environment.
Salary Negotiable including medical aid pension
Min Requirements
- Accounting / Financial Qualification
- Preferably management accountant experience
- Cost & Management Accounting experience is an added benefit
- Completed SAICA articles or SAIPA is a must
- Minimum of 5 post-qualification experience as a Financial Controller / Financial manager from the retail manufacturing industry.
- You have to have solid financial management and reporting abilities
- Completing Audit files and yearly audits with auditors
- Experience working in the manufacturing environment will be an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Management of the finance team, debtors, creditors and accounting
- Be able to compile and report on management accounts
- Preparation and distribution of monthly management reports and analysis of results
- Inventory/Stock management with manufacturing and import divisions
- Oversee the compilation of accurate monthly accounts
- Compiling Budgets, forecasts, and cashflow for the CFO to approve
- Complete accurate monthly forward forecasting
- Assist and control manufacturing and selling costs regarding labor costs and raw product imports and completions.
