Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
- Monitor and record financial transactions and ensure they are properly classified and recorded.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for clients, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Client Interaction:
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and address queries.
- Provide financial advice and recommendations based on client needs and goals.
Tax Preparation and Compliance:
- Assist with tax planning and preparation for clients, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Prepare and file tax returns and support documentation for audits.
Audit Support:
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Implement recommendations from audits to improve financial processes and controls.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Support clients in budgeting and financial forecasting efforts.
- Analyze financial trends and variances to assist in strategic planning.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain and organize financial documentation.
- Perform general administrative tasks as required, such as data entry and report generation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
