Job Summary
Our client is looking to employ a Junior Electrical Engineer to their growing company. The successful candidate will contribute to exciting projects in the Manufacturing Industry, develop their design skills, and collaborate with seasoned professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for projects across various industries.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to create electrical layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical components and systems.
- Support project teams with technical design calculations, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Participate in project meetings to provide design updates and solutions.
- Check the correctness of Bill of Materials
- Create products by reviewing semi knock down products and feasibility studies
- Validating electrical certification by NRCS
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles and systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other design tools.
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations (e.g., SANS, IEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
