The Engineering department currently has a vacancy for an attentive to detail, meticulous, methodical individual to join their team. The successful candidate will form part of a multi-disciplinary team and will report directly to the Engineering Directors.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings
• Produce detailed drawings for fabrication/manufacturing
• Produce detailed drawings for machined parts
• Produce General Arrangement and Layout drawings
• Conduct site measurement of structures and areas
• Consultation with Engineers and workshop teams to get input to optimize designs
• Accurate record keeping, updating, and general control of all drawings

Qualifying Experience:

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
• Formal drafting certification
• Drafting experience in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Lite and Solid Works packages
• Computer literate –MS Advance office package proficiency
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Engineering design knowledge is essential
• Knowledge of structural steel tables and sections essential
