Hire Resolve is seeking a dynamic Industrial Engineer/Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team with the aim of training them in all aspects of production. The successful candidate will assist the Maintenance, Production, and Planning Managers in a variety of tasks, making this a broad and flexible role that offers substantial growth opportunities. The role is focused on gaining a comprehensive understanding of production processes while providing support to key managers. This position is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Compensation: R20,000 per month

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and supervision of production activities.
• Support the Maintenance Manager in scheduling and implementing maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to monitor efficiency and identify improvement opportunities.
• Aid the Planning Manager in optimizing production schedules and resource allocation.
• Conduct research and propose improvements to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to production, maintenance, and planning tasks.
• Participate in cross-functional training to build expertise in various production-related disciplines.

Requirements:

• A degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–3 years of relevant work experience (recent graduates are welcome to apply).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of production processes and planning principles.
• Eager to learn and take on a variety of tasks as part of professional growth.
