The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to design, develop, and maintain engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing engineering teams.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper coordination and integration of engineering projects.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members to solve complex engineering problems.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful project completion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive engineering excellence.
- Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of learning, growth, and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Registration with ECSA
- GCC Factories
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Experience in the paper and/or packaging industry
- Strong technical expertise in engineering principles, design, and development processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
