As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for new business development and managing existing accounts. You will be developing and implementing sales & marketing strategies, identifying new market opportunities, and leading the team to achieve sales goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- New business development and managing existing accounts. ]
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationships.
- Establish sales and marketing strategies, set goals and tasks and supervise the implementation thereof.
- Initiate and coordinate the development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Execute competition and market analysis.
- Perform regular backlog, pipeline and lead reviews and propose recovery plans.
- Contribute to the development of training and educational programs for clients and Account Executives.
- Recruit, assign KPIs and tasks and periodically evaluate the sales department staff.
- Ensure that company policies, procedures and business ethics codes are communicated and implemented within the team.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience selling solutions to the mining/ industrial sector
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver professional presentations.
