WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Perform inspections.
  

• Conduct maintenance, service, and repairs on electrical substations, motors, ore transfer, and dewatering equipment.
  

• Diagnose and fault-find on electrical substations, motors, ore transfer, and dewatering equipment.
  

• Participate in SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) initiatives.
  

• Complete job cards and conduct spares planning.
  

• Conduct diagnostic repairs and maintain electrical equipment.
  

Requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum qualification of Grade 12.
  

• N2 Certificate and recognized Trade Certificate.
  

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified electrician.
  

• Experience in heavy industrial, mining, and underground environments will be advantageous.
  

• Medium Voltage Training will be advantageous.
  

• Must demonstrate the ability to perform constructive work according to the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  

• Must be able to work overtime and standby duties when required.
  

• A valid code B/C1 driver’s license (must be able to obtain a mine vehicle license).
  

• Must be able to obtain a medical certificate of fitness.

Remuneration will be according to qualifications and experience and will include competitive conditions of employment.
