Job Summary
Responsibility:
Maintenance
- Breakdown maintenance
- Planned maintenance
- Fault finding
- Requisition of parts needed
- Paperwork concerning repairs
- Follow up on breakdowns
Minimum Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate
- Millwright Trade certificate required
- N2 Passed in related field of trade
- 3 years' experience, post trade
- At least 3 years’ experience in an open cast mining environment and specifically relevant to Crushing and Screening / Plant Environment
- Candidates must have a valid driver’s license
Knowledge / Competencies /Abilities:
- Fully bilingual
- Must be medically fit and pass a medical examination as required from the designated mines
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines as determined by the supervisor
- Must possess basic problem solving, basic self-management
