Job Summary
Job Responsibilities- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to promote a quality-focused culture.
- Conduct first-pass quality assurance for in-progress features, ensuring they meet specifications and identifying potential bugs.
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
- Track and analyze quality metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts, to assess product quality and improve testing processes.
- Build, maintain, and enhance test harnesses and scripts to increase test coverage and efficiency.
- Identify, document, and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Define, document, and execute diverse test cases to ensure comprehensive platform coverage.
- Conduct regular regression testing to maintain consistent product quality across releases.

Qualifications and Experience
- Proficiency with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit).
- Experience with web performance testing and mobile device testing.
- Strong understanding of API testing, including frameworks for web services and API validation.
- Competency in object-oriented programming, particularly with Java.
- Hands-on experience in both manual and exploratory testing within web application environments.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, or similar platforms
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, especially Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to perform both automation and manual testing.
- Previous work experience with Agile development teams.
- Strong familiarity with web and mobile application testing.
- Proven track record of improving release processes.
- Ability to create comprehensive and clear documentation for testing processes and outcomes
Additional Requirements:
- Experience working with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
- Prior experience in the payments industry environment is highly desirable
