Our client is recruiting for a reliable and experienced Yard Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of their yard, ensuring that products are organized, stock is managed, and customer needs are met efficiently. In this hands-on role, you will lead a team, maintain a safe and well-organized yard, and ensure smooth operations to support their customers and sales team. Minimum requirements:
- Matric
- Computer literate (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good people skills
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Own transport
- Drivers’ license
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Handyman technical skills
- Experience in DIY or hardware environment

Duties will include:
Sales & Customer service:
- Technical assistance/advice to clients
- Quotes with technical calculations
- Follow up on quotations
Yard:
- Yard packing/display
- General maintenance
- Management of yard staff (5 people)
Fleet management:
- Maintenance
- Fuel management
- Deliveries
Pre-Packs:
- Pre-pack packing
- Management of staff
Remuneration:
R 12 000 - R 15 000 basic, depending on experience
