Job Summary
Position: Power Electronic Application Engineer
Location: Western Cape
Minimum Requirements:
- BEng or MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on expertise in power electronic design
- Proficiency in prototyping, hardware verification, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting electronic circuits
- Familiarity with Altium Designer or similar CAD tools
- Strong skills in MCU firmware development using C, C++, and GitLab for version control
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the application design within the department, focusing on the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of electronic modules and IoT-driven hardware and software solutions.
- Engage in product development, design, testing, and production activities.
- Manage project scope throughout all phases of delivery.
- Provide support for existing products and clients.
