Job Summary
A leading Precision Mechanical Manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join their team, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. This role involves maintaining and repairing various electrical and mechanical equipment used in the food and manufacturing industries. The successful candidate will work independently, servicing client sites and ensuring equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
- 3–4 years of electrical experience (Mechanical experience will be advantageous)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical faults
- Knowledge of electrical safety regulations, first aid, and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to work independently
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, including rack ovens, bain maries, and back-of-house equipment
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical systems and machinery
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company standards
- Respond promptly to service calls and provide efficient solutions to clients
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs completed
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding repairs and service requirements
