Job Summary
Hire Resolve is currently working with a company based in Cape Town that is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Planning Coordinator. This role involves coordinating and overseeing the planning and scheduling of various operations, ensuring efficient processes and timely delivery of products or services.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and assist with the development of production or service plans based on demand forecasts and resource availability
- Ensure that schedules are aligned with capacity and resource availability
- Monitor and analyse data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process optimisation
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination of activities
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control, if applicable
- Oversee the implementation of quality control measures and adherence to standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any related issues or delays
- Participate in meetings and provide input on strategies and goals
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools
