Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using appropriate software
- Coordinate with project team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues
- Prepare reports on project status, budget, and resource allocation
- Assist in the development of project plans and budgets
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Planner or similar role
- Knowledge of project management principles and techniques
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project planning or project management
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in project management software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience in the mining industry
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project or similar software
