Job Title: Project Controls Manager
Location: South Africa, Burgersfort
Job Type: 24 month Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Primary Industry: Mining
Job Duties:
- Develop and implement project control processes and procedures
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Prepare progress reports and forecasts for project stakeholders
- Identify and address project risks and issues
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure project success
- Review and analyse project data to make informed decisions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
- Proven experience in project controls within the mining industry
- Strong understanding of project management principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management software Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years in project controls, with extensive managerial experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Significant experience in mining projects, with a solid understanding of the project lifecycle, from feasibility to commissioning.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Project management principles
- Risk management
- Financial acumen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
