Description:Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a skilled Production Superintendent to join their mining company based in Mpumalanga. The Production Superintendent will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operational aspects of the production department, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and overseeing resource plans for assigned areas, setting and communicating production goals on a weekly and monthly basis, and providing technical support to Supervisors to ensure safe achievement of these targets.
- Overseeing the allocation, use, and capability of resources to enhance productivity and meet objectives.
- Assessing Supervisors' performance and offering coaching and guidance by promoting best practices and high standards.
- Ensuring compliance with legislation, company policies, procedures, standards, and operating guidelines within the areas of responsibility.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to address and resolve operational challenges as needed within the assigned areas.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree/Diploma in Mining Engineering
- Blasting Certificate for Surface Mines
- 5 years' experience in coal mining.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Valid Drivers' License
