Job Title: Estimator – Marble & Granite Industry
Location: Kempton Park
Salary: R30 000 – R35 000
A leading company specializing in Marble and Granite installations is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic team. If you have a passion for precision and a background in estimating for tiling, cladding, or similar projects, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for tiling, cladding, and other marble and granite projects.
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine scope, material requirements, and labor costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop timelines and ensure project profitability.
- Assist with tender submissions and contract negotiations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, specifically with tiling, cladding, and similar projects.
- Strong understanding of Marble and Granite materials and installation processes.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in estimation software (experience with industry-specific software will be an advantage).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
