Our client in the Automotive Industry is seeking a Financial Manager with the following skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BCOM Degree
- A suitable relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Financial (or similar)
- Must be able to work in a Corporate Dealer Group environment
Working Experience:
Must have over 3 years’ experience as a Financial Manager at a Dealership. Experience with both new and pre-owned cars sales. Extensive CRM , DMS, Financial and Payroll systems expertise in industry that will allow you to champion the systems and processes needed to drive the financial portfolio. Advanced excel skills.
Digital Literacy:
- MS Offices: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Industry related platform experience · Accounting software
- Payroll Software
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Financial control and performance management
- Preparation of Budgets and forecast processes
- Income and Expense Management
- Risk Analysis and Management
- Assist with internal & external audits across the business
- Process month-end journals and full recons of balance sheets
- Posting of cashbook, creditors & debtors' transactions to the general ledger
- Asset Management (Maintain fixed Assets and working assets)
- Authorize requisitions (payments/credit notes/invoice reversals ect)
- Daily cashflow management
- Audit & F&I Bordeaux reports
- Manage the sales recon and commission process
- Prepare and submission of commission sheets
- Process and payroll related matters
- Daily audit of petty cash, WIP of both parts & workshop departments
- Workshop financial management and support- must have experience - not negotiable
- Prepare management packs, reports of shareholders
- Back-end journals (Service, maintenance & warranties supplier invoices)
- Bank Reconciliation
- Floorplan Management
- Demo depreciation management
- Daily operation cash (DOC), Reporting or Management
- Systems and process champion for the DMS, Financial Systems and Payroll Systems
