Job Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for a SAP MRP Planner to join our client in the automotive leather industry. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the manufacturing company has the right materials, in the correct quantities, and delivered at the precise time to meet their production schedules. You'll typically use MRP software to forecast material needs, generate purchase orders, and monitor inventory levels. A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management and Operations Management. SAP Certifications required within the Production Planning Manufacturing modules. 10 years†experience in automotive manufacturing, production planning, or supply chain management is essential. Understanding automotive production processes, from assembly line operations to inventory management, is crucial. Technical Skills, Proficiency in using planning and scheduling modules in MS Office Experience required (expert level). Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles: Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies and techniques, such as Kanban, Just-In-Time (JIT), and Six Sigma, is beneficial for optimizing production processes and minimizing waste. MRP Experience : Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning principles including demand forecasting, inventory management, bill of materials (BOM), master production scheduling, and capacity planning. Ability to configure and customize SAP MRP settings to align with the company requirements, including setting up planning parameters and configuring procurement settings. Proficiency in analysis of data using SAP: analyzing of demand patterns, inventory levels, lead times, and other relevant metrics to optimize MRP processes. Understanding of the business processes related to supply chain management, production planning, and inventory control. The ability to troubleshoot issues related to MRP processes, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. This may require the involvement with cross-functional teams such as development, production, and logistics. Good communication skills essential and the ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and concise manner which all stakeholders understand. A willingness to stay updated with the latest developments through training, certifications is crucial. Supply Chain Management: Understanding of supply chain dynamics, including supplier relationships, procurement processes, inventory management, and logistics, is essential for ensuring a smooth flow of materials and components to support production schedules.
