My client is a successful Wealth Manager and is seeking a Bookkeeper to keep their financial records up to date. If you are suitably experienced and qualified, please apply today! Responsibilities: Run bookkeeping tasks for various external clients, small businesses, corporations, and sole proprietors Liaise with clients regarding bookkeeping inquiries and services Maintain relationships with clients, ensure timely response to queries and requests Update general ledgers for client accounts, ensure accurate records of accounts payable and receivable Reconcile invoices, payments, receipts, and other transactions Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Provide feedback to clients on their financial reports, highlight discrepancies Prepare and submit VAT returns and tax filings for clients Ensure clients comply with financial regulations and reporting deadlines (Income tax and vat) Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files Stay up to date with tax laws, accounting standards, and financial regulations Requirements: Diploma or degree in accounting or finance 1-2 years experience in bookkeeping within an accounting firm Proficient in accounting software (i.e. Sage, Zoho) and Microsoft Excel Knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws (i.e. VAT and income tax) Highly organized and able to manage multiple client accounts Experience with VAT submissions, tax compliance, and year-end reconciliations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Please note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
