Our well-established client based in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a Branch Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities
Assist the Chief Executive Officer in:
- Ensuring that campuses function properly and meet obligations and responsibilities. Ensuring processes, structures, strategies and mechanisms are in place and working effectively.
- Providing strategic leadership and ensure realization of set goals and plans.
- Ensuring the effective and efficient management and control of the organization’s finances is in line with current applicable organizational policies and regulation.
- Ensuring the maintenance of quality of standards and quality assurance across campuses, Durban & Pietermaritzburg.
- Ensuring compliance to government legislation and creating conducive communication between the organization and government authorities.
- Establishing sales and marketing philosophy, and sales and marketing plans that achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, growth etc.
- Overseeing the overall health and performance of campuses (sales, student & corporate clients, finance, operations and academic). This entails the management of all staff members of the two campuses.
- Overseeing the development, implementation and review of sales plan, and marketing policies and strategy.
- Managing of academics’ performance, efficiency in general operations and overall business development.
- Hiring and training of staff in consultation with senior management, other staff members and the board.
- Motivating all staff and ensuring they are capacitated and performs according to their roles and expectations.
- Setting and managing sales targets and ensuring optimal growth of the organization both in terms of student numbers and new campuses across the country.
- Managing the Sales Pipeline and academic performance of the campuses.
- Managing and overseeing governance withing the organization (Ensuring Committees and structures within the organization are operational and effective; meetings are held and decisions are executed).
The ideal candidate will be able to manage all company aspects and possesses good sales, leadership and management qualities. Strong personality and a passion for skills development and education.
