Who We're Looking For:

Camps Bay Village is a stylish beachside retreat located just steps from the iconic Camps Bay beachfront and are seeking to find an Executive Housekeeper to join its exceptional team. This collection of contemporary, self-catering apartments and villas offers guests the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and modern luxury, ideal for both families and couples. Surrounded by palm-lined streets, trendy cafes, and upscale restaurants, Camps Bay Village is situated in the heart of one of Cape Town’s most vibrant coastal neighbourhoods. Are you passionate about housekeeping and committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in the hospitality sector? Are you detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? We are seeking a well-presented and experienced Executive Housekeeper with a proven track record in managing housekeeping operations. You should excel at problem-solving, providing leadership to your team, and staying calm under pressure. Strong administrative skills and impeccable communication are essential, as is the ability to handle all housekeeping tasks with precision and discretion, ensuring every detail is attended to with care.

What is required:

To manage and control all Housekeeping & Laundry standards laid down by the Company whilst maximizing revenues and profits. Ensure that all Company policies and procedures are implemented and maintained. Continuous staff training and development. Housekeeping modules to be developed, implemented and maintained. Maintain high service levels to ensure highest guest satisfaction. Understand and implement last 10% of facilities, services and standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Must speak, read, write and understand English at a professional level
• Computer literate level 2 minimum experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook in particular)
• Applicable Tertiary Qualification in Tourism/Hospitality Management.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the same or similar position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook in particular)
• Have at least worked on some sort of PMS but Opera/Opera Cloud experience preferred
• Interaction with Others, Personal Effectiveness, Communication, Cognition/Thinking, and Management/Leadership skills
• Managing Work, High Attention to Detail and Managing Conflict.
• Leadership and staff development
