Job Summary
Our client, a leader in the Leisure Hospitality industry are seeking a highly experienced IT Systems Engineer to join their team based at head office in Johannesburg.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric (NQF 4)
- IT related qualification (A+, N+, MCSE, CCNA, IT diploma/degree)
- Numeracy skills (NQF 4)
- Good computer literacy (MS Office)
- Minimum 3 years experience in an IT environment and one year experience 2nd or 3rd level IT support.
MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
- Manage system availability and server capacity efficiently
- Ensure incidents are managed and resolved promptly
- Plan and implement system changes, including documentation and skills transfer
- Oversee all aspects of daily IT operation
- Supervise & develop performance of systems support operators
- Conduct and facilitate internal audits in compliance with external audit rules
- Perform all functions of project management
- Ensure compliance with gaming board requirements and codes of conduct, policies and procedures
- Work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards consistently and accurately
