Job Summary
The Sales department currently has a vacancy for a motivated, professional and attentive to detail Administrator to join their team. The Administrator’s primary purpose is to provide administrative support to the Sales Representatives. This person must have extensive experience in a range of administrative functions and will be expected to manage a large workload.
- Check tenders daily on tender platforms
- Print tender and check all specifications and requirements
- Liaise with General Manager about viability of tender
- Attend tender meeting (if applicable)
- Check the availability of resources with other departments
- Complete tender document with necessary supporting documents
- Liaise with management and external sources about additional documentation required
- Complete tender document, including rates (pricing), supporting documents
- Submit tender document via portals, email or hand deliver on or before the closing date
- When tender is awarded, communicate with the control room, Sales dept and Accounts dept regarding logistics, paper work and invoicing
- Load quote on system and make booking with control room with all the relevant information applicable to the tender
- Submit monthly signed paper work to buyer and invoice accordingly
- Keep track of duration of tender, i.e. start and end date
- Application for renewal of legislation documents (to be used as supporting documents for Tenders)
