Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client is a leading steel manufacturing company in Gauteng, looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join their team. The Internal Sales Representative will be responsible for managing customer accounts and generating sales leads within the steel industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers in the steel industry.
- Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Provide customers with product information, pricing, and delivery details.
- Prepare and send quotations to customers.
- Follow up on sales leads and inquiries.
- Collaborate with the external sales team to coordinate sales efforts.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system.
- Assist with resolving customer complaints and issues.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the steel industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
- Valid driver's license and own transportation.
- Knowledge of steel products and manufacturing processes is a plus.
