Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Provide day-to-day technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Assist with setting up and configuring computers, software, and peripheral devices for new team members.
- Help monitor and maintain network connectivity and system performance.
- Assist in maintaining and updating security protocols to ensure data protection.
Software & Hardware Inventory
- Keep track of software licenses and hardware inventory, ensuring that all assets are up to date.
- Support the setup and management of hardware and software for development and production environments.
- Document common IT procedures, solutions, and FAQs for easy reference.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to streamline IT operations and increase efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest IT tools, security practices, and technologies relevant to our industry.
- Assist the team in exploring new solutions that could benefit the company.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and provide clear. technical support.
- Interest in the gaming industry and technology trends.
- Passion for pop culture and African entertainment.
- Must not have taken part on the YES Program before.
- South Africa unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34.
