Job Summary
Our client, a top supplier of construction and mining machinery is seeking an energetic and driven Sales Manager to manage the entire sales process of their mining and construction machinery, from prospecting to closing deals, including negotiations and contract management.
Key Activities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to generate sales leads and increase revenue.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the value and benefits of our products.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales pipeline, and sales forecasts.
- Continuously evaluate and improve sales strategies and tactics, using feedback from customers and best practices in the industry.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales of construction or mining machinery, preferably with experience working with CAT, BELL, KOMATSU, VOLVO, or HITACHI machinery.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence customers at all levels of the organization.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to close deals and manage customer relationships.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of the construction and mining machinery industry and regulatory requirements.
