Who are looking for: A PR Account Director in Nigeria with at least 10 years agency experience who is equipped to work 100% remotely in Nigeria.
What will you do:
Client and Work:
- Lead multiple accounts and teams, ensuring smooth execution of client programs, budgets, and timelines.
- Mobilize specialist teams (media, digital, creative) to deliver comprehensive client programs and exceed expectations.
- Build lasting client relationships beyond the scope of work by proactively suggesting improvements.
Leadership and Talent Management:
- Mentor and develop direct reports for high performance and growth.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding processes.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment and support DEI initiatives.
Growth and Business Development:
- Support new business development and identify organic growth opportunities with current clients.
- Collaborate on business pitches and deepen client relationships.
Business Acumen:
- Manage programs within budget, collaborate on staff planning, and expand knowledge of agency services.
What do you need:
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Must be able to engage in conversations at a senior level and work independently.
- Must be a trusted advisor to our client.
- Give sound, strategic counsel to clients when they call.
- At least 10 years of experience in a PR agency.
- Must have strong Fintech or Corporate background.
- Must have solid writing capabilities.
- Events and Content is a major priority for this client, so experience with this is critical.
- They must be able to work with teams from different markets (Kenya, Dubai, SA).
- Must have strong work ethic, be reliable and have the ability to work independently.
- Must be fully equipped to work 100% remotely.
- Must be able to work on Tech and Healthcare clients, amongst others.
- Must be able to present well.
