Job Summary
Hire Resolve's Client is seeking a Production Manager for PET to join their team that is based in Lanseria. The Production Manager for PET will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process in a PET manufacturing plant. This role involves ensuring that the production lines run efficiently, meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards. The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, quality control, and logistics, to optimize operations and ensure the highest quality products are produced on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the PET production process, ensuring optimal efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of production staff, including setting objectives, providing guidance, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve production processes, including identifying bottlenecks, reducing downtime, and improving overall production yield.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations; actively promote a safety-first culture in the workplace.
- Quality Control: Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that production standards are consistently met and maintain high product quality.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Manage production costs, monitor waste, and ensure that production remains within budget while maximizing efficiency.
- Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure that equipment is well-maintained and downtime is minimized.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze production reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Provide regular updates to senior management on production status, challenges, and achievements.
- Inventory Management: Ensure adequate raw materials are available for production and manage stock levels to avoid production delays.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably within a PET or plastic manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of the PET production process, including extrusion, injection molding, or blow molding technologies.
- Proven leadership experience managing a production team.
- Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
- Ability to manage budgets and reduce production costs.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with different teams.

Work Environment:
